As the Minister for Health in the Andrews Labor Government I am committed to repairing the damage that four years of Liberal Government inaction and cuts has done to our health system.
I am working with Victoria’s doctors, nurses, paramedics and healthcare professionals to improve services for all Victorians. There is much to be done, and my team and I will be working tirelessly to get our health system back on track.
The Andrews Labor Government is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our community by investing in our hospitals, ambulance and health professionals.
It was Labor who introduced Medicare, championed bulk billing to help keep health costs low and founded the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our government fully intends to carry on this legacy of investment and reform.
